The CPIA is promoting the Learn2Print program to enhance training and retention in the printing industry. This program, based in the UK, offers apprenticeship programs and National Vocational Qualifications for print operators. Participants can earn a certificate or diploma upon successful completion.
The training involves monthly online sessions and two in-person assessments over a period of 15 to 18 months. The CPIA seeks at least two printing firms to invest around $15,000 each to certify a worker, with plans to explore funding opportunities for a national accredited program.
