Industry-Specific Education and Programs

PrintForward offers a wide range of printing, imaging, management, sales and marketing education and programs to its members and non-members. Annually, the association reviews the education and programs plan for the year and checks in with membership to ensure that the education ‘line-up’ is delivering what members want and need. Over the years we have provided educational programs focused on estimating, pre-press, sales, colour management, human resources, UV processes, digital printing, business networking, customer service, Lean management, quality controls, production management, marketing, social media, web design and content management, industry trends, direct mail strategies, and more.

Programs are delivered using a variety of methods; for example,

  • hands-on training at BCIT’s Graphic Communications Technology Management program lab or at Xerox’s state of the art display center
  • webinars that enable participation and learning from the comfort of your own office
  • seminars and workshops
  • small-group format or large group format
  • video conferencing (for remote participants)

Starting in 2016, PrintForward issues certificates of completion to participants to record the ongoing commitment individuals and companies make to ongoing professional development.
